Watch the video below to learn how you can use Camtasia Studio and its built-in features to turn any photos, pictures, or screenshots into professionally looking animated videos. This type of technique is widely used in video production.

Step 1 - Import the picture files into Camtasia Studio

Step 2 - Make sure the picture occupies the full width and height of the screen.

Step 3 - For image files in portrait mode, you can add animation to scroll vertically. For image files in landscape mode, you can add animation to scroll horizontally. You can also scroll in any direction or even zoom in and out instead of scrolling.

Step 4 - To add animation, make sure the element is selected, then go to Visual Properties and click on "Animation"

Step 5 - When animation is added, Camtasia will process it according to the length allowed on the timeline. The left end of the animation indicates the initial state (position and size) of the image file where the right end of the animation indicates the final state of the image file. So if the image is initially located on the left and end up on the right, Camtasia will animate as if it's scrolling from left to right.

Step 6 - You can also apply animation to call outs.
