Watch the video below to learn how you can use Camtasia Studio and its built-in features to add zoom in and zoom out transition effects on images and make professional animated videos.

Step 1 - Import the picture files into Camtasia Studio

Step 2 - To create a "zoom in" effect, make sure the element is selected, then go to Visual Properties and click on "Animation"

Step 3 - Enlarge the image to its final size and position

Step 4 - When animation is added, Camtasia will process it according to the length allowed on the timeline. The left end of the animation indicates the initial state (position and size) of the image file where the right end of the animation indicates the final state of the image file.

Step 5 - To add "zoom out" effect, repeat steps 2 to 4. But instead of enlarging the image, downsize the image.
